Accordion I Don't

Well I was never gonna be a regular updater - my days have been taken up with the harp recording, and touring with karine Polwart and Annie Grace. And the Orkney Folk festival which has taken me a heck of a lot longer to recover than I thought it was going to. Got flu. Got a huge hole in my index finger, seemingly from trying to open beer bottles with my bare hands. Which I was able to do, they tell me, but the blood in the beer was an added extra they were quite happy to forgo. Oh well I tried. Bought myself a groovy bottle opener for such times in the future. Don't go mentioning harpists do that - it's not a good thing to be advertising. And anyway, I'll never do it again...

'Harp I do' is the title of the new album. It has a selection of material which i have wanted to record on the small harp for a wee while. And I am glad it will finally be available to the general public soon.

Track listing is:
1. The Berserk/Nana's Walkabout
2. Fourteen years
3. Amberanna
4. Suntrap/Ratman
5. My love I miss her so / Dodging the frogs / The Rizla
6. Milligan's Waltz
7. Ledger's Lines / Bogle's Majority / The Peeler's Jacket
8. Sister's Lament
9. New Voice

The cd is 50.48 mins long and will be released on Big Bash Records

At the moment it will only be available here. October 2008 will be the public launch. And I'll take it to America with me, as I promised I would.
cheers, Corrina
